まだ半分しかない! (Not Even Halfway Yet!)

I just finished my final report for my final class and am now free for the summer. (Summer vacation being the months of August and September.) The last 40 days have been filled with lots of Aikido, lots of finals, and other random stuff. I apologize to my readers for being away for so long. With school gone, I should have more than enough time to gradually catch you up on my time here while also letting you know what’s going on now.

Already it’s been four months! On the one hand, I’m tempted to say “Boy does time fly!” But the reality is I’ve already done so much here. Friendships, places, culture, culture shock, language—and I’m not even halfway yet! I’ve still got 6-7 months here. With a summer vacation ahead, I’m just getting started. And so is the sun, so I probably ought to sign off for now : P

About Stephen

My name is Stephen Gabriel Falke, and I am passionate for all things Japanese. I have been accepted to teach for the JET Program starting 2015. In the past, during my time in college, I also had the chance to participate in a study abroad at Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan, for Japan's 2012 school year. On my blog I write about my love for Japan, my journey to get there and stay there, and my adventures studying and teaching there.
