Waiting

I was driving home today when I got behind this white SUV. I think it was an SUV. But then again, I was never knew my cars very well. Camry, Subaru, Ford, Honda, Hyundai–the only way I had any hope of figuring out which was which was by the symbols–assuming I could remember those. Anyway, I was behind this white SUV, and the license plate read:

WA8 4 IT

I almost smiled at the connection, the corners of my mouth scrambling to climb up my cheeks. I’m waiting. I’ve been waiting. Waiting for what? It’d be so much easier to answer that if I was over there in Japan now. It’s about five months away now. Come back then and I’ll start to answer that question, what have I been waiting for.
